| Virtual Coronary Angiography is not for everyone and goes beyond the HeartScan to look for abnormalities of coronary artery anatomy and/or coronary narrowing. It is not intended to replace an invasive catheter study, but for the right patient it can be used to avoid the need for catheterization or simply follow-up after surgical procedures. The test can be done in as little as 15 minutes, and requires a small amount of intravenous contrast. |
 |
| This test can provide a non-invasive alternative to invasive cardiac catheterization. |
